I am a Solicitor within the Personal Injury Department. I deal with all aspects of a client’s case from taking initial instructions, submitting the claim to the other side, issuing legal proceedings to bringing the claim to a conclusion.
I deal with a variety of personal injury claims on a day-to-day basis from start to finish such as road traffic accidents, accidents at work, slips and trips, accidents abroad etc. I take initial instructions, provide advice on the merits of the case, instruct various experts, calculate losses and expenses, issue legal proceedings, draft witness statements, value a client’s case based on the medical evidence and attempt to settle the claim and draft any necessary applications and hearing bundles to court.
I graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2019 with a 2:1 LLB and I have worked in the Personal Injury Department at Barker Booth & Eastwood since 2010. Whilst working at the firm, I completed my CILEX Level 6 Diploma in Law and Practice and in 2024, I graduated from the University of Central Lancashire, having undertaken the Professional Masters in Legal Practice, passed both Solicitor Qualification Exams and qualified as a Solicitor in November 2024.
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
I like to take a methodical approach and ensure I have covered every potential issue that may arise. I like to ensure I have covered every possible option / solution, so it achieves the best outcome for the client.

- I helped secured compensation in respect of a slipping accident in a supermarket.
Outside of Work
When I am not working, I am either decorating or trying to tackle the garden, both of which I do not enjoy, but it keeps me busy. I have 2 children, so I enjoy family days out and watching them play football at the weekends (normally in the rain!).
Favourite Quote or Saying: I have plenty of quotes which I always try to pass on to my children. One of my favourite quotes is: “There are five important things for living a successful and fulfilling life: never stop dreaming, never stop believing, never give up, never stop trying, and never stop learning.” Roy T. Bennett
Favourite Sweet Treat: I have such a sweet tooth and enjoy chocolate and cakes. We get spoilt with cakes from our very own baker, Kath Cox, who is always baking and bringing her delicious cakes to the office and they are so hard to resist.
