I am a Senior Associate Solicitor, within the Personal Injury Department. I deal with all types of personal injury compensation claims, from the initial contact with Clients until the conclusion of the claim. I receive support from my trusty Assistants, Leanne and Sally.
I consider all accident claims and injuries suffered and will advise Clients directly on the merits of pursuing a compensation claim. I will instruct appropriate medical experts to provide the best medical evidence to clarify the nature and extent of the injury suffered. I will investigate all losses and expenses incurred due to the accident. I will look to arrange rehabilitation treatment and seek interim payments if a person is suffering financial hardship. I will ultimately look to value the claim based upon the evidence obtained and ultimately negotiate a settlement to reflect the injury and loss suffered by the Client.
I like to analyse the issues in the case and tackle those issues head-on. I like to dedicate time to dealing with the case and focus towards resolving the case and getting things done in a timely manner.
I am a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
I qualified as a Legal Executive in October 2004, combining both studying part-time and working full time. I then continued those studies to qualify as a Solicitor in December 2008. This was alongside having my first baby in April 2008 and continuing to work full-time dealing with personal injury claims.
I support the local charity, Headway Blackpool & Wyre, and took part in a charity skydive to raise money for them in July 2024.

Outside of Work
I am a bit of a fitness fanatic outside of work and enjoy going to the Gym; playing Badminton; and dipping in the cold water tub. I enjoy visiting places and having a good mooch; attending music events; and spending time with my other half and children. I’m not adverse to a nice glass of red either!
Favourite Holiday Destination: Far too many to mention. But one of the most opulent places I have visited was Monaco. It was the most beautiful, clean and striking place I have seen. I felt very under dressed!
Favourite Quote or Saying: I love most quotes by Oscar Wilde. If I had to pick one, probably, “To live is the rarest thing in the world, most people exist, that is all”
Favourite Sweet Treat: We have our very own star baker in the Personal Injury Department, Kath, who spoils us weekly with cakes, cookies and treats. I’d best say them all!
