An alternative to lengthy litigation
Mediation is an alternative way of resolving a damaging, costly and time-consuming dispute.
Our mediators are accredited with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (“CEDR”) and have extensive experience in mediating partnership and shareholder disputes, professional negligence claims, building disputes, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family & Dependants) Act 1975, disputes over the validity of will and boundary disputes.
With both parties agreement, we can mediate your dispute and if your mediation is successful the terms agreed will be incorporated into a Settlement Agreement that will be binding upon you both.
Mediation is suitable for all kinds of business and personal disputes.
Our mediators will explain in simple terms what mediation is and how it differs from litigation. We will ensure you understand the process and how any agreement reached is implemented.
Prior to the mediation meeting both parties would be required to sign up to an agreement to mediate and you must come to the mediation meeting with an open mind and with the authority to negotiate and make decisions in respect of the dispute.
Feel free to contact us if you would like to have a preliminary discussion about how a mediation might assist in the resolution of your dispute.
